So today is going to be my very first posting of a videotaped improv here. I have been doing weekly video improvs for over 2 months now, as a way of growing artistically and being able to watch my own technique and get feedback on my movement. Today is the first time I am choosing to post one of the improvs here. Please keep in mind that this is an on-the-spot improv done in my home studio (AKA living room =p) and will not have the polished look of a performance piece. Many of these improvs are ideas in progress, choreographic/improv notes or incomplete dance sketches that may or may not later become full, performable pieces. Please enjoy and give constructive feeback!
That is the Justice tarot card I am holding at the beginning. This dance was inspired by recent humbling events in my life and various spiritual experiences.
